
Tanya has been practicing Physical Therapy since 1993. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UCA and earned a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Ouachita Baptist.
For more than half of her career, Tanya worked in hospital, home health, and nursing home settings before moving to an outpatient setting a little more than 13 years ago.
Tanya believes patient-centered care is most effective with emphasis on their goals to improve functional tolerance and independence at home, in the community, and at work.
Tanya is certified in Dry Needling and is working towards a full certification in Pelvic Floor Dysfunction.
Tanya was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. College brought her to Arkansas; while attending at Ouachita, Tanya met her husband, Jimmy, and they married just before graduation from PT school. Tanya loves spending time with her family, including her 2 granddaughters. She also enjoys crocheting and quilting, preferring to bless others with her creations.
